Senior Character Artist
The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping create the highest quality Character & Prop models and textures for AAA Game Development. Must demonstrate a high amount of attention to artistic and technical detail with 5+ years experience in a Character Artist role, possessing a great understanding of art pipelines and workflows. Must work well in a creative, collaborative environment and have a real passion for gaming.
Tasks will include producing character models that are anatomically correct and creating high res textures with layered source files from scratch. Create clean and efficient topology ready for skinning for animation and author well laid out textures. Setting up materials and textures in Maya with daily progress reports in our central forum.
Excellent artistic ability, strong organic modelling skills and in-depth anatomical knowledge.
Thorough knowledge of Zbrush is essential.
Proficient in Photoshop, Substance painter/designer and Marmoset.
Experienced in PBR texturing and creating Specular/Metalness workflows.
Experience in shaders and material setup for characters.
Excellent communication, time management & organisational skills.
At least 2 shipped AAA games.
Experience in Maya and Max.
