TECHNICAL ANIMATOR / RIGGER
(work from home position)
SMS are looking for an experienced and passionate Technical Animator to provide creative and technical support to our Character and Animation teams.
Update and Maintain the current Character and Animation Pipelines.
Produce and Maintain Tools and processes to support the Character and Animation teams.
Rig Assets effectively for Animation and Export them correctly for In-Game.
Troubleshoot technical issues with Assets and Scenes in Maya and In-Game.
Collaborate with Art and Programming teams to facilitate effective communication.
Produce Animation Simulations for In-Game Set pieces and Cinematics.
Proficient in 3D Character and Animation Production Pipelines.
Proficient in Character Body and Facial Rigging.
Proficient in Python Scripting.
Creative in Technical problem solving.
Experience with Motion Capture.
Experience with dynamic Simulation systems.
Strong Communication and Organizational skills.
At least 3 years of experience in Game Development or 5+ years recent experience in gaming industry in a similar position.
Previously Shipped Titles
Experience in 3dsMax and/or Motion Builder
Basic knowledge of Character Modelling and Texturing
Experience with Maxscript
